A moment of something good in the world: A Red-shouldered hawk moved into the wooded creek area by our house! I got this picture of it (I think) yesterday right as it was flying over and heard it again this morning (sounds like a blue jay being sarcastic) and caught it on Merlin.

I love learning about how stuff works and plants are cool as fuck. I get a lot of peace out of just having happy plants around, I love growing food, flowers make me smile and I enjoy their beauty. Hard to have a favorite thing...
