The choice of these stock photos and the badly edited in products are particularly hilarious to me. It's for an Axolotl Squishy
If you want a change I recommend "Really Bad Chess" where you find out what it's like to play against 7 knights at once. The angles get a bit tricky. I hate it and also love it.
Tried to use a coin for scale to show the size of this spider. It looks like I'm trying to pay her off. This is what would be considered a very large spider in the UK.
FYI @cstrawbridgeart.bsky.social there's someone pretending to be you sending out fake PayPal links
Are the lichess puzzles harder than the chess dot com ones? Only I seem to have found my stride a bit and want some trickier ones
Managed a lovely checkmate at chess tonight against a reasonably strong player. He was tired but I'll take the win 😎 Final position was this
Have a little scroll break and enjoy these calming crickets during a French sunset
Took a photo of this cricket hiding in a forested area in the South of France. Pretty good camouflage
Managed my longest chess puzzle streak. These things are getting quite tricky now I've been doing them for a while
I like the small joys. Managed to find a reasonably priced tiny thermos flask for my coffee. I like small strong coffees so this is perfect. Also saw a fox on the path ahead of me, which is very unusual in the countryside when walking. No photo as it was too far away for my phone.
This very hastily cooked, badly presented, ramen was delicious. I added a lot of chilli oil and the pollen count is high so I did a lot of sneezing for joy
I have a selection for that reason. I have chess club later so this cup is today's vessel of choice. It should be more like a timble because I'm not very good
I went into the countryside for a couple of hours walking. The clouds were very dramatic today
In terms of fun scary, the end sequence of Dying Light with the horde chasing you. In terms of not fun scary. It has to be "Rescue on Fractalus" on the C64. That game terrified the heck out of a 5 year old me
Broccoli is 8p at ASDA at the moment. For those in the UK who feel like making some kind of broccoli based masterpiece. I guess prices might vary locally, who knows.
