I guess I missed a few weeks ago when Kentucky ran the same Democratic primary for Senate again that they’ve been running for 6 years
If anything tonight’s results show that Jeffries should be sending Mamdani a thank you note for preemptively killing Chi Osse’s challenge. Osse with the full force of Mamdani and DSA might have been able to pull it off.
Here is Jordan Wright, endorsing corrupt sex creep Andrew Cuomo last year
Okay and in the very next Senate election a regular Dem elected official was trounced by a non-incumbent by almost the same amount. Manchin was the only dem who could even compete in WV because of his personal brand. I don't disagree with your thesis but using him as the example is disingenuous.
Feels pretty grim writing a polite email to my representatives begging them to leave their vacation to try and stop a nuclear war
Everyone knows that, Mamdani is quoted as such in the same article. That's all she had to say. Instead she took shots at whether he's a real democrat and whether his policies will work. We lost in '16 and '24 after Dem nominees disavowed the left and campaigned with Bush daughters, Cheney, etc.
Looking at sales for random pop-punk records in the early-mid '00s is like looking at stock valuations during the dot com bubble
This is a tremendously positive night but can we take one second to relish this
Looking back at this article from last week where a panel criticized @nytopinion.nytimes.com's non-endorsement article, and somehow even this didn't turn out to be true. The only thing that mealy-mouthed piece stood firm on was not to rank Zohran, and he still won. NYT somehow still stays losing!
Hey @nytimes.com, can you point me to the spot in Zohran’s platform where he ran on this? He didn’t. You guys and your billionaire friends are the ones who tried to make this a referendum on foreign policy
