My/our comments
I am a boring cis woman but I think this bill is just pandering culture-war crap imported from overseas. New Zealand First are trying to get their vote share up by appealing to a lot of brain-wormed people who have been sent down internet rabbit-holes by a propaganda war against trans, non-binary and intersex people. As a nation we should resist these malign foreign influences and listen to the women of Aotearoa New Zealand, who, when surveyed, believe trans, non-binary and intersex people should have the same rights as us and should be left alone to live their lives. I am ashamed this bill even made it to select committee stage. Gender policing should have no place in government or, indeed, in society.

My/our recommendations
Bin this bill with extreme prejudice. It panders to the worst people in this nation and should be rejected.
