Martina Seiffert started work on April 1 as Head of the Division "Immune Modulation in Cancer" at DKFZ. Her aim is to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying tumor-mediated immune escape to uncover novel approaches for enhancing cancer immunotherapies.

Der Patientenbeirat Krebsforschung traf sich diese Woche zum Austausch mit Forschenden und DKFZ-Vorstand. Besonders deutlich wurde, dass Patientenbeteiligung ein zentraler Bestandteil moderner Krebsforschung ist. Die Perspektive der Betroffenen fließt aktiv in Projekte ein.
