Why are Christian conservative communities so upset about the "trend" of their adult children turning away from the faith/setting boundaries with their parents? Today on the STRONGWILLED podcast we tackle this issue -- and the real reasons why so many people are walking away from toxic systems.
The most interesting name to me personally on Peter Thiel's secret list is John Townsend. Primarily because he is all in on helping grift people at Focus on the Family who are estranged from their adult children.
Focus on the Family's Facebook page is almost exclusively geared towards people who are estranged from their adult children (gee, I wonder why?). Anyways, they are giving excellent advice, as usual!
Don't you think it's a big deal that the Christian psychologist obsessed with getting parents to spank their children wrote this about dads? This is from James Dobson's 2010 book and it normalizes some very creepy shit:

It is SO cool that millions and millions of parents really liked the creep that was Dr. James Dobson and ruined our childhoods because of they followed his advice. When in reality he was just broadcasting his gross fantasies constantly.
