Agreed. Since WWII the UK has *never* managed to build more than 250,000 homes in a year, never mind Labour’s current target of >300,000 for England alone, without the government taking a very active hand in the market. The last time the UK built even 250.000 p.a.? Why, it was 1979 of course.
