The smoke finally reached us. Fortunatly we have a 70% chance of storms tonight so hopefully some of this will wash out.

Things are all over the place but there are lightning bugs in our back yard and I spent a good amount of time posting today and riding pretty well! My legs will probably be mad tomorrow but I'm doing really well. I like learning to be competent at things.

Here you can really see the failings with the moongate. Failure to properly plan compesition, not very grounded. The scarlet pimpernell is better. Flowers are a lot easier to fudge about with.

So... the blue one I copied a tutorial, but the wood sorrel was me feeling my way through. And flowers are fairly easy... but I do like that. I have two more to finish for now.

So this is probably an overly complicated way to do this, but we are replicating victorian and georgian tiara construction here, on a non soldering skill set... so here's the first steps.

Two headbands on a copy of Filling your worlds with words by CD Covington. One headband is black with holes in it the other is covered in grey velvet with 5 pins pirecing the band.

Garden is in...

Spent the day full circle as a teacher assistant and I ended up helping with the beginning grooming class, the same one I started with last year. I have come a long way since then.
