Grabbed a stack of free VHS tapes. Good news: loaded with period commercials. Bad news: Mostly episodes of Smallville. I'm stunned at how bad this show is, and even more stunned it went 9 seasons.

Have been able to drive the DeLorean again and am reminded of how much I -love- this car. I've done the 1/4 mile 16.8 @ 81.1 with a stock exhaust. Quick? No. But identical to the beloved NA Miata's 16.8.

I've been able to put pressure on my broken toe and took my brother-in-law out in the DeLorean. Then handed him the keys for a rip. He was expecting slower and sloppier and was nicely surprised. Handling he said, feels remarkably similar to his Miata ND. I love surprising people.

For me it's our 1969 Finnish Ruska dinnerware that gets used daily. I also have the coffee urn, large soup tourine, and a serving platter but they rarely get used.
