To me the history of the hospital Saint Pau embodies Catalonian social values. The Museum of the City the exposed archaeology, the chamber of the Conseils de Cents are indelible. Last visit skipped Fundacio Joan Miro. A mistake.

I remember being startled by these recreations but then wandering among the sarcophagi in the Egyptian wing and wondering if the startle was partially a consequence of overwhelmingly Eurocentric education.
