OK, nothing like the extremes of temperature endured by the Tour de France cyclists at the moment ....but cycling in #Helsinki (mostly on the #helsinkiBikeCommute) has an interesting temperature spread this year: -26℃ on 30 January and +28℃ today

This morning on the Faroe Islands I had a curious connection with my late Dad ....peeping out of the clouds was the radar station that I remember him frequently visiting in the 1970s. Curious that our careers, his as an RAF engineer & mine as a marine scientist, would have taken us to the same place
