I am a chief creative at ClearDaemonic Media Group, where I make fun things for my various communities. I enjoy movies, video games, and movie-riffing (MST3K, Rifftrax, and Dumb Industries, among others). Also, I am a cat.
I finally finished the book. I feel like the artwork featured on the trade paperback for The Digging Leviathan is a straight-up bait & switch though so I fixed it. app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/2cc9... @hgmc-pod.bsky.social
I'm starting this one @hgmc-pod.bsky.social. Dunno what to expect but hope I dig it.
This candle doesn't smell like Seattle at all.. where are the subtle notes of urine and marijuana?
Inspired by your posts @rincewind.run here's a bit that made me LoL from Interesting Times.
This just sort of happened. I swear I don't remember doing it. It was like an alien abduction event.
I finally finished it, @hgmc-pod.bsky.social. It had one hell of a satisfying ending after an enjoyably wild ride.
I reached the half-way point of this book, and it's FINALLY turned into the story I dreamed of. So I took a few moments to work on the VHS cover art. Now, we just need to draft a screenplay that includes a wise-cracking, streetwise pimp-informant. @hgmc-pod.bsky.social
I'm enjoying The Anubis Gates quite a lot so far, @hgmc-pod.bsky.social. More time travel stories should include the risks of joining a panhandling guild and/or dying of consumption.
This artwork feels like something you'd spot in The Oldest House right before a mini-boss fight with the frogs.
Just got back from @groundkontrol.bsky.social. Fun time. But Dr. Mario can go straight to hell.
Foolish earthling. Take advantage of our rewards program or your planet is doomed!
Best part of going to the dentist is reading the objectively terrible magazines in the waiting room.
This is an objectively superior way to appreciate the US vs. AU game in Seattle. Particularly as it is free.
I finished up the next book in the lineup, @hgmc-pod.bsky.social. I enjoy book clubs because they force me to read outside my comfort zone. But on the other hand, all my annotations for this book are a collection of boneheaded mistakes made by absolute rookies to the concept of a haunted house.
This is one hell of a good book that kept me engaged for the entire time. Thanks to @hgmc-pod.bsky.social for making me read it. www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I have so many e-books and physical books to read, but I still couldn't resist picking this one up. I'm a sucker for gilded pages.
I picked up this (hardcover) bad boy cheap from Thriftbooks and can't wait to read it after my current book is done. @hgmc-pod.bsky.social
I finally have my reviews completed in time for @letterboxd.social and it turns out it's a Two Star Bonanza™️because I'm so into #filmriffing. Honestly, I had fun watching all of these, even if it *was* due to the conversations and critiques that emerged from them. #LastFourWatched #LetterboxdFriday
Taking a break from my chronological read (and re-read) of the entire Discworld series to appreciate all the incredibly cool artwork - over the years - created by Paul Kidby. app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/aa8d...
Have you ever encountered a door in real life that desperately needs better 3D texturing? This drove me nuts. I wanted to fix the UVs on this all day.
Check it out. I actually reviewed the last films I watched in time to do this thing. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday #letterboxd
One of these signs conveys the overall quality of the restaurant and the other one tells you how well the restaurant meets food safety standards.
Yesterday, I read this book. It's quite fun. It's by John Swartzwelder, who wrote a ton of episodes of The Simpsons.
