We had a similar situation with the kitties 10 years ago. Both are rescues; in the photo, the smaller one was about two months old; the bigger one, 16 years old. Giving shade.

Just went to the vet for annual check-up. The cat is almost 20 lbs and will be on a special diet starting next week. He looks like a raccoon from behind. 🙀 He was found in a church parking lot nine years ago - he was about four-six weeks old and malnourished. Happy, lucky kitty 😸.
