Last comment, I think people are stupid in saying the show was too "fanservicey." The two main female characters are wearing swimsuits in a water/beach setting. That's NORMAL. Granted, I'd have picked a one piece for Kit as that's my preference, but... eh, it's still not THAT "scandalous."
As for Warrick, it's clear that he's meant to be some kind of... Frankenstein's monster sort of space warlord? I get the vibe he's not quite used to being in his own body, judging by that running gag of him accidentally mercing his own lackeys. That tells me he's not quite the main villain.
Which brings me to the next point, the Syntax. I get the feeling there's going to be a lot of coding jokes in this series that I'm not going to get as I'm not a programmer (but I am learning!) The villains overall were in my opinion the best part of the show, acting as mirrors/foils to our heroes.
I can tell that Kit's got a heart of gold in a similar sense to Batman in that she wants to save everyone from experiencing the kind of trauma she's gone through, but hasn't quite been able to move on. Reminds me of how Other M TRIED to have Samus confront her trauma, but actually GOOD this time.
