Just back from Crete where I spent several days in Matala (think Joni Mitchell's "Blue") with my dear friends and fellow poets Michael and Mihaela, and took a quick jaunt to Rethymno to visit another longtime friend (and former ULV colleague) Chris Parnassus and some of her good friends.

I want to thank Alice, Christina and the other good people at TEO Books & Coffee for hosting last evening’s presentation HOW TO TAME A MEMOIR. We had a lively, and at times very introspective, discussion about writing autobiographies, their rewards and struggles.
Forgot to mention the 20 euro fee for participants in the earlier announcement, which includes a copy of my memoir. Workshop limited to 15 participants, so come early. Still, hoping to see you there.

Just back from a fine three days in Bitola, N. Macedonia, where I participated in their 13th annual literary festival.
