Spent the weekend at Durham Miner’s Gala. It’s been a wonderful time and such an important protest (particularly considering who currently runs the local authority). Solidarity to all my comrades.

Went to give the dog his evening meal. The dogfood is held in the cupboard above the kettle. I told the dog I’d feed him, walked up to the cupboard, and automatically put the kettle on without thinking. I then made a cup of tea. Only then did I realised he was still looking up expectantly.

I do love how much fun Tori Amos has with the artwork in her albums - the fact she still loves dressing up (like in Strange Little Girls and American Doll Posse) fills me with delight!

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a Paul McGann Christmas special, and I’ve really loved this year‘s #DoctorWho Christmas from #BigFinish, ending with the very sweet take on It’s a Wonderful Life. Stand out, though, had to be the “What would happen if Missy was thrust into a Hallmark movie”.

Good morning. Good? Morning. Wet morning: cold, wet and grey. I mean, really, is there any point in leaving the house?

I might have to admit that this city is fucked…

Just started the latest #DoctorWho: Time War box set. Alex has run off with the TARDIS and is generally having a terrible time. And I’m not sure the universe appreciates these Time Lord Sontarans. Still, at least the Doctor is also having a horrible time, so all is fair… kind of… #BigFinish
