I play video games on the internet, sometimes I make YouTube videos, and very occasionally I'll even do a lil' voice acting.
I feel compelled to mention that Kid Dracula also features a minigame where you need to guess the colour of the bloomers that a bunch of can-can dancers are wearing. Guessing correctly earns you extra lives.
So I was playing Kid Dracula and this total baddie shows up OUT OF NOWHERE as a boss fight. But get this: she abhors violence, so her boss fight is a quiz show instead, where the first questions are about herself. Konami, do the right thing. Lady Liberty spin-off.
"Hey, you gonna be good for tonight? You need to grab some food?" "No, I've already got a plan."
My very modest haul from the London MCM Expo - I mostly went to support my friend and for the vibes. Can you believe the Haley print was only a couple of quid?
It went together, yaay! The joins I designed 'work' in the sense they hold the halves together, but the whole thing can flex when bent outwards. But! The main flexing would be inwards, from pushing the buttons. So, it's probably fine. Probably.
I was watching @smokiwuff.bsky.social when they mentioned how strange P-Balloon Mario looks holding a shell... So... Here we are.
Most of today's efforts on the schematic... It's basically 'Done', pending some testing for the LEDs to see if they can be driven directly from the ESP32. But after that... We need to design The Actual PCB.
Here's a box... It'll need to be cut in two to fit on the print bed (better than the 4 separate pieces the Pop'n controller needed), but instead of glue and dovetails I think I'll try and make it screw together somehow instead.
