Ah, much better! I need to tidy up the beard a bit but otherwise I think I'm in good shape for the summer heat. I can feel the cool air on my scalp and I don't have strands of hair in my face all the time. Perfect.

When I went to pick up my package, I swung by the hair products aisle and grabbed a new set of clippers. So enjoy this one last photo of me with long hair and beard; the beard is getting a trim and the hair it goes buhbye.

Mail day! Received my copy of Deadline! from the @wanderers-tome.bsky.social crowdfunding and I can't wait to dig in. Normally the fact that Canada Post crammed the envelope into a mailbox obviously too small for the package would bum me out, but for a game about newspapers the bend sort of works.

Skyrealms of Jorune, back in the '80s. Still a traditional game of its time, mechanically, but thematically was one of the first games I encountered that played against the "murder hobo" idea of adventurers; your goal was public service.
