As a kid, I heard a snippet of the song "And That's Why" in the Robbie Benson film DIE LAUGHING, and was haunted by it for years. It wasn't until I was... very into my adult years... that the internet was expansive enough that I could both a) find the name of the band and b) get their album.
We've moved on from "criticizing AI is ableist" to "criticizing AI is sexist".
