Too much feedback can ruin a unique vision. Imagine a focus grouped ERASERHEAD. A lot of audiences hated what are now classics, not finding success until years later. My personal belief is that not everything should be for everyone. I loved Tippet's MAD GOD, will everyone? No. Should they? No.
Thrilled to see Frankenstein take home a few Oscars. I had the chance to work on it a little bit by doing some keyframes that were laid out by the incredibly talented @guydavisart.bsky.social. It was only about a weeks worth of work, but so much fun. These are the two images found in the artbook.
Oh, I saw after I posted this that you already pitched it. One of my fav Dredd stories (my kids first!). Bummer it didn't get greenlit. A Kenny Who flick/series would be great too. Get that Scotsman Ewan McGregor to play him! It's a surprisingly timely story! 😅
