Educator, humbled to live within the territories of Katzie First Nation and Kwantlen First Nation. Desperate for a just and joyful Canada.
This is how I'd pick my team of the tourney. Couldn't think of anyone on the left who looked better than Vini Jr did.
I'm not confident the transformation will be anything positive, but I'm surprised I didn't skew closer to 'Bad.'
Hamilton has read the rule book and it says dogs definitely can sit on a chair.
If the mayoral candidates for Vancouver wanted to find themselves a winning issue, opposing this bullshit seems like a pretty clear slam dunk.
People who say they like running are a psyop! (congrats tho, good on you)
Deeply gladdened to have spent the weekend in Nanoose Bay and Parksville.
So many in the replies going "this is good because what else can Carney do?" are giving big Dril energy. There is absolutely value in saying bad things are bad, and last time I checked, flagrant aggression and wars that result in children dying are bad. This isn't actually that complicated.
Update: The response from the office of Evan Solomon (typed in the alt text) is...uninspiring. This is not a serious person. "Platforms and AI developers have a responsibility to take reasonable steps." My guy, you know who else might have that responsibility?
Teachers know what kids need – more time, more support, and more resources. Add your voice and tell government it’s time to deliver on better classroom conditions. share.nwmd.social/s/HUItym5g
My letter to Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation. You can copy the letter from the alt text and amend as you like (I deleted the line about being a teacher in the alt text). Also open to feedback to improve future iterations of this letter.
How does the CBC not reference in the invasion of Iraq when Trump has explicitly stated the desire to acquire Venezuela's oil? Or the decades of American meddling in countries around the world? Seems relevant to me! www.cbc.ca/news/world/t...
Every time I come back to this album, I get annoyed that it's taken me so long to come back to an absolute banger of a rock record. Some all-time guitar work on this bad boy.
How can "actual consent" and "fear" can be compatible in any way? Unless you just straight up think E.M. is lying, which just reads like the worst misogynistic read of E.M.'s testimony. Hockey Canada is rotten to the core, and our justice system helps maintain that.
Great day to support public education. Underfunding is a choice. Neglecting obvious needs is a choice. The BC NDP is making these choices, and they're hurting kids by doing so. Shame on them.
Love a good data vis; shows clearly why Canada has all the ability to invest more in itself, rather than the need to tighten the purse strings. www.policyalternatives.ca/news-researc...
You can see both parties dip here in what I believe will be Singh's riding (unless things have changed?), but a much greater dip from the NDP. Pretty brutal look. Folks clearly aren't buying them as a viable alternative, or at the very least consider them the least interesting of 3 similar choices.
Not knocking the "Ford-lite" allegations easily when Liberal insiders are calling the Ontario election a "success." This isn't a novel take, but the LPC/OLPC's shamelessness about their love for the status quo is so tone-deaf and stupid.
