A couple of Crimson Rosellas from Emerald Lake today. Went there for an hour walk and avoided the $2 parking fee by using a secret car parking spot. Also avoided any potential obnoxious tourists who were on Puffing Billy.
Did see The Black Sorrows last night. This was due to my brother being double booked for another event so I got a free ticket. I seem to be a fill-in in a lot of things in life. Joe Camilleri still has it at 78. His vocals and saxophone playing are still top notch.
I'm happy to note that there is no beef between me and this cute cow. It seems happy to see me. No happy dance today though.
A vocal performance in wanting to be fed and patted. Yes both things happened. In the morning and at night time.
Q - What does a gardener do on their day off? A - Go and see other gardens.
I will be ramping it up. Still 🐂💩 that the ramp cost $299. It works at least, that is the 🔑.
I hate assembling things, but it is all worth it at the end. Will need to buy a ramp so I don't have to pick up the lawn and trolley from my van.
I think Zack is more merciful than I am. The wealth hoarding class would have a moderate choice with him, not so much with me these days.
Earlier today I managed to decompress myself temporarily at the Royal Bontanic Gardens after having the mental endurance test known as dealing with a peak hour train, high school students and noise pollution. The RBG also had lightscape 🐂💩 which annoyed me. It is a garden, not a theme park.
The upcoming music video on Monday night will be to die for. A sweet bedtime lullaby for the ages. 🥰
Nothing beats this ballad combo. Jim Steinman knew how to write a melodramatic epic and I'm all here for it.
RIP Belt (Jan 1998 - 9th June 2026) It could no longer take the weight of my world and it finally buckled after all these years. It was a belter of a run, 28 ½ years.
Yes we know Dimma. If you get too angry all the time it will lead to an aneurysm or a heat attack.
Made a Boss move eariler today. They were $2 each so I bought 48 of them at Burwood Brickworks. I'm not going pay $14.70 for a 4 pack or the 'usual' indivdual price of $4 each. Anything above $2.50 each is just 🐂💩. My supply is all good now.
...Damo would want to be in the circus tent contributing to the spectacle.
They call it a companion seat, but in reality it is for those who want to be left alone in piece & quiet. Also glad there was no one 10 metres within my vinicity. Glorious space.
I'm glad that I bought my house 17 years ago (paid the loan all off 13 years ago). I wouldn't be able to afford an $812k home in Melbourne. Bought mine for 43% of today's value. I can tell you that my wage hasn't increased 2.3 times since 2009.
The wind could ease off a bit. I suppose I'll try out my waterproof gear tomorrow morning when working outside. See how long I'll last out there.
I know @zanesheadband.bsky.social and @bookshopaddict.bsky.social will enjoy this fantasy fan fiction. Personally I had a good laugh.
While I was happy it existed, I'm still pissed off it was a 'Limited Time' product and no longer on the shelves. It tasted good and fitted into my air fryer perfectly.
This garden looks a bit cactus and yet I have another black swan moment.
In ~2 months' time I won't have to deal going to the petrol station to fill up a car with fuel. Nor will I have to deal with having to use my magical skills of fitting all my gardening equipment in my 18 year old hatchback. It's all happening, I will be electrified.
My photography skills are poor. Split Enz were very good and so was Vika & Linda. I couldn't really fault the setlist, but I would have liked to hear Charlie, Titus, Another Great Divide, Sweet Dreams and Under the Wheel. As you can see I'm more of a fan of their Prog era.
