Now watching- Godzilla (1998) This was a disliked movie. I don’t remember if it was actually bad or just weird and not what people were wanting. Let’s find out.

Now watching- Sanctuary (1998) This is a low budget Canadian action movie directed by Tibor Takács. He directed the Gate and I, Madman, so I’m hoping for at least a little pizzazz.

I found it! Not nearly as cool as the CBS/Fox release.

Now watching- The Legend of Hell House (1973) I got this tape last month. I already had a copy, but I think it has a different cover.

They did an amazing job with these dino-guys! Looks like they had a great practical costume and jazzed it up with CG. It looks great.

Now watching- Journey to the Center of the Earth (1999) This is a two episode mini series from Hallmark Entertainment.

This Mitsubishi VCR has a cool jog wheel on the remote. This is supposed to be so you can examine sports moments, but lowkey, a lot of the advanced features on VCRs were about jerking off.

It fired right up!

Just got some new VCRs this morning! I can’t wait to peek inside that JVC.

Now watching- Firefox (1982) This is a cold war spy movie with a little sci-fi element. The Soviets have developed a machine 5 stealth plane and Clint Eastwood has to steal it!

Now watching- Under Fire (1983)

OK. You need to see this part where John Cassavetes explodes! This is the final scene. It just cuts straight to credits while the body parts are still falling! 😎

Now watching- The Driver (1978) It’s some kind of crime story about a getaway driver. Directed by Walter Hill who did The Warriors, 48 HRS. and Streets of Fire. Sound great!

Now watching- Resurrection (1980) This is about a lady who gets psychic powers to heal, and everyone gets pissed off that she’s not religious about it. Sounds pretty interesting.

Now watching- Gore Vidal’s Billy the Kid (1989) This was a made for TV movie for TNT.
