My little patio garden doesn't make me self-sufficient. But it does give me some delicious tomatoes and squash and peppers, and herbs to cook them with. It also gives me a nice little green space to read a book in. And that's all I wanted from it.

I spent 6 months looking for Rocco. I already had 2 dogs, I really did not want another one. But I could not stop going into every shelter I passed. And I traveled through 3 states during that time. I didn't know why, until finally there he was, my little Rocco. And I tell him about it frequently.

Yesterday for May Day I made some small candles, beeswax. Last evening I lit one and watched it burn for a while. It started melting quickly and was soon guttering. I left it outside (in a safe place) expecting it to be out soon. It is still burning 14 hours later! #Beltaine #MayDay #WitchSky

He was hunting marmots. There were, indeed squeaks coming from the hole. And on top of the hill. And various other places. Lots of marmots. I did not allow him to stake out the burrow for more than a few sniffs and pictures. But it was the deepest one I've seen going straight down. #dogs #marmots

This completely pisses me off. These showed up in bathrooms at work. We are women, not children. The title play on Tidy-Cat kitty litter is disgusting. And they don't put such instructions on dog poop bags, why would women need them? AND WE AREN'T ALL INTO PINK! Obviously designed by a man.

Girl Scout cookies are not what they used to be. The box is a quarter empty, and this new flavor suck. I know costs have gone up, but trying to hide it with shrinkflation and cheap recipes is not the way to go. #GirlScoutCookies
