Another scorcher, sad to say, but a nice fresh breeze makes things bearable..

Out & about in sunny Manchester today.. going to a Buddhist ordination.. like you do, followed by a meal in Chinatown, all being well.

Took a different route for my dog walk this morning..(past the back of a stadium of twice FA cup winning team)

Failed to attach a photo of the dog.. flat out after getting half way around this morning’s walk.

A grey cloud-covering blocking out the sun & blue skies.. making it a nice day for a walk with the dog..

The first Sunday in August.. Rugby practice on one pitch & three Sunday League games on the pitches across the road.. love amateur sport on a Sunday.

Another scorcher again today with a bit of wind.. slightly cooling.

Bloody sunshine 🌞 again.. cloudy when I set out so wore a body warmer but now sweating like a pig.

This, according to the media & according to the restaurant owner, is where he buys his food.. surprised me because it’s a reasonably inexpensive place to eat in Chinatown. Very homely & been around since 1982.

A nice cloudy (but humid) day today but no Sunday league cricket or rugby to watch. The dog enjoyed a slovenly trot around the fields. Another heatwave predicted for next week, starting on Wednesday, so bad news across the board.😕

Not a lot of walks recently due to the extreme heat so a photo of the dog on his new raised bed for outdoors..and me with my PSG sandals (on sale at Primark for £2) bought just before they played Arsenal in the Champions League.. lucky slippers.

Alfresco dining last night because of the extreme heat.. the dog looked on hungrily to the chicken & broccoli left over from our Chinese meal.

Saw this photo a few minutes ago.. England fans in America. When you see this.. in no way do I want to be associated with these morons. I’d rather England get knocked out than see this in the stadium.

No dog walking today as it’s much too hot. Will play in the shaded garden & maybe take him out if it clouds over a little..He enjoyed lying on his outdoor bed last night.

The dog doesn’t fancy a decent walk today.. much too hot for him🙄 so just the local football pitches. Captured some nice cloud formations so not a wasted morning.. he’s happy. He mentioned Nimbus, Cumulus, Stratus & Cirrus but means nothing to me.. he wasn’t impressed.

Took a different dog walking route today.. the dog took me to the cemetery followed by a long trek around some local football fields. Not completed such a lengthy walk for a long time. Both of us got home desperate for a hydration break ..😅
