Halito, I’m Draycu (she/her), an artist currently living in Colorado. Please follow my work ONLY if you’re 18+! I’m a trans gal in my 30s, I love science fantasy, and I really like wyverns, rats, and mice! 🏳️⚧️Started HRT 11/19/21 Click #art for art
halito, I've been rotating this lizard gal in my head for a pathfinder game after finishing a previous game that went to level 20! There's also been a LOT that's happened since i've been working at a ren faire this year, but I'm running out of letters for this post, heck! I'm well at least! #art
Part two of going to see the Backrooms movie, I found a really big room outside the theater and felt this was also really fitting for what I was watching. I kind of love painting over photos, I might give a few more of these a go! Also it's nice to make art of Yarrow as a mouse and wyvern! #art
#art Halito, I felt a strong pull to start working with acrylic primary colors I have! this was painted with a 2” wash brush with an angle and without an angle, and the clouds were painted with a round brush I have! I love the tip on round brushes, painting spirals on the clouds was very fun!
#art Here’s my progress so far on my painting! I’m taking my time with things, and I’ve learned working with a cardboard box surface made me need to learn to adapt to a not smooth surface! That’s okay, it’s been fun to just experiment without stressing over things not looking super accurate!
#art halito, I wanted to share this update on my art journey! I had fun mixing this, it’s acrylic blended with white gesso after I brushed a good amount of water first to keep things from drying out! Oh, and I used a 3” and 2” wash brush for this, and I feel it turned out really well!
Worked on some practice blending acrylic paints, I realized I’m gonna need SO much more white paint in the future! Also, the pickle jar lid is an important part of my process in learning stuff
Halito! I’ve finally prepared my workspace for physical painting, and I’m really excited to start making stuff! I want to learn, and have fun with stuff I can hold in my hands, and maybe offer to let folks keep some of what I make one day! I do have several canvases ready for something like that!
oh gosh, this was tough deciding on things, but I feel happy with it after giving things some thought. Glad I gave it a go, it was fun!
Halito, it's trans visibility day, and I wanted to make and post something! It's been four years since I started hrt in my 30's, and took the steps to live a much happier life being able to be who I am. Being able to transition has given me reason to smile still, even with everything, heck #art
I learned how to make a binary pen style on procreate, I'm really glad I could figure that out so I'm not stuck with just making this art on my desktop pc! Here's a shark otter character I've had years back, she's gonna be a treasure hunter in a metroid inspired game I'd like to make one day! #art
oh, i have pictochat too!! It's really fun and I want to draw more things with my dsi, heck! Also I discovered the rainbow pencil option by accident and thought I broke something at first when it was cycling through colors #art #pictochat
halito! I've been away again learning things, though I wanted to share this lil animation practice I made with Krita! I also got inspired after watching the second episode of nabiu by terminalmontage, and I gave my mouse whiskers, heck #art #animation
Sure, sounds like a really nice idea to share some stuff I've been holding onto for a while now! Here's stuff I made thinking of game ideas, dream places I would like folk to explore, also a learning project from when I just started to push myself to work with color in Paint Tool SAI, years ago!
Restful Sleep (something a little more cheerful, I wanted to post something I recently made of my wyvern in her underground city!) #art #animation
Letting Go (This is something i started back in september, i’ve since had to say goodbye to one of my cats not long after losing my grandfather, I feel this piece reflects that loss well. I’m doing better now though, thankfully! I felt this was a good moment in time to share this, finally.) #art
