I plugged mine in then rode a hired mobility scooter from my boot into town to get Sushi takeaway on Friday. By the time I’d trundled back, it had almost finish charging on a public fast charger.

There’s nothing like a basic and elegant machine and it’s pithy instruction manual to teach you the basics of mechanical sewing (literally, hand cranked!)

A Singer 99K hand cranked sewing machine with a few poorly tensioned attempts at lock stitching. Success on the 3rd needle plus 5th attempt! Instruction manual open at ‘HINTS’
