i finally finished another mini-me Barbie for a fantastic friend who turns 50 soon! she’s a petite powerhouse Filipina so I started with the Gloria doll from the B movie. Petite doll clothes are hard to find so I made a shirt and pants 🤪 then a tote for the pooch I painted and some Vinca earrings

now i found a fun earring pair to test the cheap screwbacks and they work, though i need to modify the hook or replace with a jump ring : 2 pics of my cranky sterling cat face earrings on hooks going through tiny loop on screwback adapter

finally here are some that I have not tried to wear since I don't have the right dangly for them, but there are two types of screwbacks I got from amazon: 1 for post, and 1 for hook. both are cheap in price and material, but might work. when I put them on without weight, they do swing forward.

These are some sterling clips with a hold for a hook or post, and they are very pretty, but again a bit too tight for long term comfort for my ears. They are from an etsy shop in Poland, Argentum925. I did not want to modify the opal studs so have the unsightly post and backing to deal with here.

These lovelies are the @vincausa.bsky.social hoop clip-on version of dangling chef's knives. I love them! Initially I couldn't even get them on the proper spot on my thicc lobes bc too tight, but I managed to bend them a touch and they are wearable, again for a couple of hours. They do look pierced!
