Got a 3" binder for all our meal kits. I think we have a problem. 😅 I might just have to get a small binder for each meal type. This is organized (loosely) by Asian, baked goods/dessert, beef, chicken, fish, Mexican, pork, pasta, sandwiches, sides, soup, vegetarian.
Our stupid blonde dog scared our fat orange cat while my wife was holding the cat and he pulled or sprained something in his hip. He's spent a couple days resting but he's getting better. No broken bones or tails
Firecracker 4 Miler race this morning! Hot ass balls at 0700 but most of it was shaded at least. Got two 'Go Chiefs!' and a dude from our neighborhood recognized me from always being out running myself. Also it's my incredible wife's birthday and she got out there and worked!
Ran 8.1km/5m with 75° dewpoint outside. Farthest I've gone in the heat, so I'm happy with it. Went another 1.5km after walking a couple times too. I think I could push myself further if I didn't start at 11:00am. 😅 Also this guy was here to congratulate me 🐕

North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh. First trip here! We saw some Rodin and Picasso, and those are the only two I know because I'm a savage.

Then we did a 1.8 mile hike up and down some ridges to Andrew's Bald, which is just a meadow on top of a mountain. The tower had better views but this was a good nature walk. Didn't see any bears. Did about 4.5 miles today considering round trips. Pretty incredible day!
So we drove an hour to the tallest point of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hiked .5 miles on a paved but STEEP trail to the Kuwohi observation tower that looks like a UFO. Crazy good views here. Alt text lazy: various pics with mountain views, UFO lookout tower, selfie of my wife and I.
