Product guy. Ad tech. I ❤️ shipping the right products. Former LIRR commuter. Current Caltrain commuter. Views not representative of my employer.
There was discourse last week about public transit, and my contribution is that whoever keeps wrecking these giant glass walls at @caltrain.com’s Hillsdale Station must be costing Caltrain and us the general public a fortune.
Do families outside the Bay Area also get targeted for Ivy League college coaching mailers for their elementary school kids?
Oh that's pretty cool that they built a replica of the subway entrance as a float.
FYI for Knicks fans who happen to be in San Jose - free mini-cannoli at A Slice of New York if you wear Knicks colors. (And, of course, you should support them by buying pizza!)
I like to think that the Knicks won because I wore the shirt again like I did in Game 4
You know it’s the United SFO flight when boarding group 0 feels like half of the plane
The United Airlines Pitch: Get our credit card! Pay the annual fee! Relax in the lounge! The United Airlines Reality: too bad so sad
That said, I’m glad I didn’t go out last night. Getting back to my hotel would’ve been tough. You could see a bit of my hotel in this video from Gothamist
I walked down 8th to 34th this morning - you couldn’t tell what happened last night. National guard lol … that’s engagement bait.
This is where the Knicks were staying - yes it’s 1.5 blocks from MSG. I had meetings in the building next door. People were camped out for autographs. Big NYPD presence. In the afternoon you couldn’t walk down the block to Penn.
There's so much helicopter noise outside my hotel in Midtown West: police helo and a news helo
8th avenue was just electric right now. So much energy. Everyone in blue and orange. NYPD has choke points at 35th to slow people from getting close, but all you have to do is say you’re taking the LIRR. I don’t understand how people are going to see the game at this bar.
The local forum took down my post on this topic. I didn’t even mention the name on the sign. 🤷♂️ It’s kind of odd given how many posts there are that are still up that name and criticize other candidates- especially candidates that support things like bike lanes and more housing.
Zoom in: he also appears to be carrying a drill with a long bit. TASO is running as a write-in candidate for County Supervisor, District 2. Do not assume an uncontested race is actually uncontested. Write-in candidates can still win. If you support the listed candidate, fill in the bubble.
TASO signs are popping up on public land around San Mateo. This one is planted at the eastbound Highway 92 entrance from El Camino Real. My dashcam caught a man walking away carrying more TASO signs. Public land belongs to everyone. It should not be campaign billboard space. Closer look in the 🧵
This is so silly. From the cover I thought this would be about 60 story buildings or something. Actually it’s about a 14 story building!
According to @flysjc.bsky.social's website, it looks like the only non-stop coast-to-coast flights now are SJC-BWI and SJC-ATL. Also it looks like one of my posts is wrong: they do offer SJC-NRT, on ZipAir
I'm not sure if there's a competition for the worst proportioned, but I would submit the 747SP
Here’s my white hot political take: there’s too many positions to vote for that should be civil service score exam based or simply appointed
