Henry Legg @henrylegg.bsky.social compares Microsoft's Majorana 2 result to "Finding an image of Jesus in toast by looking through an entire bakery's worth of loaves. If you're looking into something which is essentially just random physics, eventually you will find the Jesus in your toast."
Me suffering from a heat wave while quantum computing offers a potential solution.
Wait a second, Michio Kaku claims his publisher runs his books by a fact checker! Who was it?? Give me their name!!! I want to talk to that person!!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=JU1f... p.s. It would be so great if this claim itself did not fact check...
When your AI pitch fails so miserably the right response should have been to immediately pivot to quantum AI! www.theguardian.com/technology/2...
Having a hard time deciding which of these two looks to wear for #QIP2027.
Apparently there's a quasi-polynomial time classical algorithm for the unknot problem which was announced in a talk in 2021 and is summarized in this slide, but there's not actual writeup of it anywhere. www.maths.ox.ac.uk/node/38304
This is how most classical-quantum solutions work these days.
If you're tired of the AI assistent in Excel, you can now connect it to a quantum computer instead! multiversecomputing.com/singularity
Why bother with recommendation letters when you get a like from Peter Shor?
Are you telling me there is a “No-Pancake Theorem” in quantum information folklore and I have never heard about it? arxiv.org/pdf/1006.135...

Gilles Brassard explains how he met Charlie Bennet on a beach in 1979. The lesson here is that next time you see somebody on a beach who looks like a cult leader, do not hesitate to approach them to explain how quantum money works. You might both get a million dollars one day!
"From a chemical and biochemical perspective, computing the ground-state energy of a model to some specified accuracy – even chemical accuracy – is a highly artificial target."
"The second proposition, that elucidating the reaction mechanism of nitrogenase will lead to a transformative societal impact, is similarly nuanced." "While it is true that the nitrogenase enzyme functions at ambient temperature and pressure, it is simply false that it consumes much less energy."
When you forget to apply Pauli Z before attending Oscars.
Never heard of "Oratomic" before, but it is now officially the hottest quantum startup out there! hsinyuan-huang.github.io
Can anyone make a carpet with this pattern? arxiv.org/pdf/2602.222...
When will we get "Tensors for babies", @csferrie.com? arxiv.org/pdf/2602.158...
When you want to observe qubits without disturbing them.
Love this Better Offline episode where Ed Zitron @edzitron.com and Cal Newport @author-calnewport.bsky.social discuss issues in current AI reporting. "Vibe reporting" and "hype laundering" are common also in quantum computing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=85uX...
What are you doing? Me: "Generating quantum entanglement from sunlight" arxiv.org/abs/2602.15655
Me including \usepackage{microtype} in the LaTeX document preamble. ctan.org/pkg/microtype
When your butt slides into DMs with Dulwich without you being aware of it.
