Yard after 2.5 hours of weeding. I still need to get around next to the house, back and sides, but that is for another time. I ache all over wheh
Went to see The Fifth Element in theaters yesterday, then followed it up with Yummy Bowl, which @rubberroswell.bsky.social and I have passed by numerous times without ever setting foot inside. It was certainly yummy and very filling! Not a regular stop point but will try it again. (Flop beams)
Rando house renovation stuff. I can and should post way more heh heh. The casing above the backdoor installed in 2023 was coming loose on the left side. After pulling it off I discovered there wasn’t a lot of good wall support underneath, so I removed that crap and made a solid base. Now to patch!
Cleaned up the bird bath and got rid of the grubby gross accumulations. I liked the reflections so here they are!
Test fitting of a foam latex mask. Opened up ear holes for comfort (the wig would cover most of that), coated the interior with greytone latex for reinforcement and added grommets up the back of the neck for lacing. Good snug fit, comfortable for the hour I wore it. Now, nerd or a clown? Coin toss!
Immortal Masks recently released a full female fit clown mask and had just this design up on their site. Movement video was promising! I already have plenty of clowns and am not in the market right now for more masks, but there may be a clown lover out there who sees this and goes dtgcjdtdgshs and !
Twombles needed consolation after hearing about a sick bird that was lingering around the birdbath yesterday. Hausu is there for comfort! (Contented bird murmurs)
Last night I finished cleaning off the delaminating paint from @rubberroswell.bsky.social ‘s Unloved mask. Going to ship it off today for a total repaint! (Growling from inside the box)
Found these on the online Goodwill site. $16 all told. Will see what character these gravitate towards! (Clown? Monster?) Had also bid on some Doc Martens but that got away from me handily. After that my consumer instincts went very dormant, thankfully!
