General Motors was weird in the 1980s. They had three distinct VF displays for all their cars. Big chonky segment digits for all divisions. Thin vertical segments for Cadillac only. And thin slanted segments only for the 85-90 Cavalier. This is a Cavalier ETR 2000 UM6 radio.

The Konica Autoreflex system is now out of my camera catalog, now enters a new player in the game. Nikon Nikomat EL to be specific, while it breaks my primary rule that a film camera should always be fully mechanical and independent from battery use, this is a solid choice and I love how it feels

I'm planning on going to @mianthroweekend.bsky.social this October, and I might do a film furtography panel there. I'm an amateur film photographer doing this for fun since 1998. I'll have my choice of film cameras to bring along with, who'd be interested in getting their film photo taken? :)
