More than ten years ago, I started my "Hannah Arendt" drawings series in my artwork. I lamented that the (Western) world needed thinkers like her desperately but did not have them. Today, I stand corrected. Reading Eva von Redecker's "Revolution for life" OF COURSE it would be a German voice...

I see this post is liked a lot (yay) so a follow up just in case some swoop in to call bullshit: this document is now in the possession of the RAZU (Regional Archives South Utrecht) and being processed. A snapshot of the scan I made of it: the first page of 17.
Women have a hard time: they create 150 years of feminism. Fight for equal rights, equal pay, voting rights, bodily autonomy.... Boys have it hard: they want to devalue others and go back to women having no autonomy and independence, because that will... help them??
It is just darn stunning, really.. Sometimes I wonder if the witch hunts will be back again. (And all those who now roll their eyes blaming me of being 'hysterical' read Sylvia Frederici - Caliban and the witch)

Aha!! A fellow Dan Carlin listener! Thank you for the recommendation, which is right up my alley. I have listened to Dan Carlin’s HH ever since king of kings I came out. (“You feel lucky, punk?”) May I recommend these books (plus ‘debt, the first 5000 years’ but I lend it out..)

New years short holiday in the snow -because as long as it's here I shall enjoy it - In a little Swiss mountainvillage. The local business exploiting the four lifts knows the snow will go. They are losing money even in 'good' seasons They expect to close within the next five years.
Last day of the year, last MTB ride of the year. When I arrived up top, there was a group of Austrian mountainbikers there, who all had bottles of champagne in their backpacks. They popped the corks with a knife and played walzes on loud.
So we could check what was counted how. (I did not yet) If I may, I would recommend this book that looks into each problem separately and in detail: a very good reference to have on hand. If you already know and have it, my apologies.
