Two front end engineers at work are out on leave this week, which leaves me as the most senior front end on the project.
Ours feel like they're all over the place, and they shift constantly. I think it's partially because we're not out yet / don't have a demo, but it's always some combination of: - Big AAA games (???) - Indies with pretty art (I'll take it) - Indie Metroidbranias (correct) - Star Wars (b/c sci-fi???)
Every sandblasting setup I've ever seen is an encased unit with a thick glass window where the operator has to work with thick gloves mounted to the damn thing cause if you were to accidentally sandblast your exposed finger, then you no longer have a finger.
Was working on a custom camera for a cutscene in Lexa and right now it looks like she went to a planetarium show and can't find her seat.
I like this detail of Falco being the only one that personalized his ship besides Fox, selling their rivalry a bit more.
Fred, I'm sorry to be a visualization pedant, but the shorter timeframe being wider than the longer timeframe did not help my brain ingest this data well. Otherwise, big fan of this graphic.
