A type of tree I enjoy photographing- Arbutus menziesii. The most beautiful tree I have seen in person to date. I instantly fell in love with these wild and dynamic trees that change color and glow in sunlight...

Arbutus menziesii on the coast in Nanaimo, BC. The tree is in the grass just before the dunes start, with the ocean in the background and mountains in the distance. The sun is starting to go down in the evening so the tree is glowing. The majority of the leaves are gone and it strikes a beautiful contrast of gold against the clear blue sky.

My hash browns and eggs looked like an owl today. 🦉

Mashed potatoes fried into a round hash brown. There are 2 eggs over easy in a soft heart/bean shape resembling the lighter part of an owl’s face with the yolks centered into eyes lightly visible. It is drizzled with kewpie mayo and sprinkled with cut green onions.

I went to a witch market this afternoon and got cool rocks, an *amazingly* gorgeous mug, art, & a tarot reading. Was not planning the reading. Spoke to her in the crowd, thought she was an attendee & we vibed. Then saw her sit at her table & I was like WELP I guess I'm getting a reading. Y'all.

A large *beautiful* hand-made clay mug. The bottom is mountains that were carved out after a black underglaze, laving a shadowed mountain range. The mountain range has no glaze. Above the mountains and the handle are glazed with blue, green, and purple that are somewhat striated and "streak" across each other looking exactly like a strong aurora borealis. The mug is full of a tea latte with blue/pink/purple sprinkles in the foamed milk.
