I've tried to do this in my own work, too. Some powers that are scary to use, from Sapphicworld:

ASTRAY FROM HISTORY
You appear in quite a few of the stories, as far as I can tell. Now, whether you were in those stories originally or not is, frankly, not my place to interrogate. Many of the tales I tell you in this very book are the result of politicians whispering over the shoulders of priests, whispering over the shoulders of scholars. The truth is made first of all that is written, and last of all that is done.

As the GM answers another PC’s question from Seek Knowledge, you may take Stress to hear the answer given and interrupt with one of the following phrases that the GM must acknowledge:
I was there. Tell them, how I was there.
There's more than that. I'm certain.
Enough walking on eggshells. Tell them the hard part.
May I tell them how they should feel about this?
I don't much like that answer. Give them another one.
I understand why you must lie to this one, but come close and whisper the truth in my ear.
And the orgy? I believe you've forgotten about the orgy.

Also, when a move creates an event that is named or will be etched in the annals of history, gain 2d6 Attendants.

ASCENDANT LIEGE
Prerequisite: Be The Liege's Footstool, have a Liege and have one Glory from High Quest.
You have been your Liege’s firm hand, their warm mouth, their tender burning sword for so long, and now comes their reward. They request that you offer one Glory up to them, so they might devour it and ascend into greater power and further bend you to their needs. Of course, you’ve now learned that devouring Glory is possible, and may do so yourself.

If you consume your Glory, your Liege may see this as an affront and release you of your oath. Either way, you can now give yourself High Quests, and you pick two when you spend Glory. The world learns a World Move of your choice.

If you feed your Glory to your Liege, they immediately gain a glimmering throne in their home Land. From here, they may perceive the world through your senses, burn images into your mind and demand you complete High Quests in their name. By granting your Liege the Glory you earned, you have ensured that there will be severe consequences if you attempt to break your oath to them. Your Liege is revered across Sapphicworld, and their very word strikes you with bliss.

On the bright side, your Liege grants you their Spells, Special and Moves, as well as a collar-and-leash that increases one of your Stats by 1 as long as you honor them. Having your Liege’s Special and Moves may get a little funky, so you’ll want to talk with your GM and adapt them to better fit a player character.

the secret sauce with my favorite fantasy story games, i feel, is that power often comes in these sudden, qualitative and often fraught helpings. i think of how @velimini.bsky.social's Fellowship often gives you powers that remove you from player-ness in ways that are irrevocable.

$Initially, the show was set to be an anthology. While I absolutely adore the story arc of Spear and Fang, will we see other characters' struggles and victories in this fantastical world? Yes I think if things work out the way I like them to Primal will be everlasting and there can be seasons of other ideas but they all fall under the umbrella of Primal... which is raw emotional storytelling. \-Genndy Tartakovsky$

ok update, Metalhorror identified, there was only one as the infected pawn did not engage in any infection vectors (cooking, doctoring, sex). I got it in the hospital while Gnat was around, and he gunned it down with his special cryptoparticle revolver. It was inside of Bischite, our pirate captain.
