I've just spent the past 90 minutes battling a fucking trojan virus. It's all clear now but fuck me that was a fight. Can a human being recommend me an actually decent antivirus software? I'm fine to pay for it but I don't trust Google AI slop filled results.
THE PLOT THICKENS There was a Scooby Doo exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum around 2023, predating Van Partible's post, that gives a clearer shot of colour models - and there's a suspicious cover-up over Fred's left shoulder... Mike might be real.
In fact, comparing them to the model sheets here www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/... - while they are in the same pose, there are quite a few differences, more noticeable in the faces and hair of Daphne and Velma. My hunch is a redraw, but needs more investigating...
I'm intrigued. I'm struggling to find much about the image that doesn't just loop back around to the Van Partible post. To me, it just feels like an edit of this image. Wikipedia mentions Mike but it cites a podcast which is paywalled

I've seen this guy around on TikTok and at movie events. How awesome that he's part of an industry that's been fighting hard against AI slop, while willfully putting in his own AI slop during his interviews with industry folk. He deleted my comment by the way.

I definitely enjoyed Backrooms way more than I expected. Kane Parsons masterfully handles setting dense layers of mystery and unraveling juuuuust enough to bring the film to an unsettling conclusion and still leave us asking questions.
Wow, Mina The Hollower is SUPER tough and unforgiving. Souls-likes are not my things, so I'm grateful for the inclusion of modifiers to adjust the balls-hard difficulty, otherwise I'd have bailed way sooner.
