It's my last day in the Marines so I went back where it all began. The Grateful Dead summed it up best... Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me Other times I can barely see Lately it occurs to me What a long, strange trip it's been I'm thankful for the amazing people I've met along the way.

A USMC Officer Candidate School squadbay is shown. It is a long room, dimly lit by windows on the left side of the picture. There are two rows of metal bunk beds with two empty wooden footlockers at the base of each rack. Each bunk has an unmade navy colored mattress on it. The only change that has been made to this room in the last 21 years is the mattresses and even those might be the same. Even the smell is unchanged. The room is empty of people but crammed full of memories.
