Tilly seems to have had a good time at daycare yesterday anyway (pictured here photobombing one of her trainer’s videos 🙈)
Gaddam warm out there today but got a couple of nice walks in between cooling off sessions.
Feeling pretty lucky on a day like this to have a swimming spot just outside Gougane Barra (source of the Lee!) less than five minutes’ walk from my door.
Had some chilli left over from last night so I thought I’d make it into a Japanese-style tacos rice but I think I may have overdone it a bit 😅
Discovered a new coffee van not far from my house which seems to be staffed entirely by 12 year olds but they know what they’re doing. It’s a nice location to sit for a bit.
Got my first delivery via Evri - I don’t know what people are complaining about, everything seems fine to me! 😅
Tilly loves visiting my parents’ house, mainly so she can shamelessly steal their dog’s bed and toys.
Appreciating the view and the breeze here in Glengarriff - and Tilly’s appreciating the treats!

Tilly’s become very good at spotting red squirrels on our walks. I don’t know how she manages to spot them in all the foliage but she often does!
Someone tried to eat fox poo and felt the need to wash her mouth out in the stream afterwards… 🤦🏻♂️
I’m not sure this revival of another beloved British institution is going to fare well…
Good to get out to Glengarriff for a walk and a pint while the sun was shining. Happy to see that, despite being shut down by the council last year, planning for the market to return has been posted so hopefully we’ll be seeing it back soon 🤞
