For a long time I felt that I couldn't undertake a retreat because neither the time away nor the expense were fair to my family. Then the our neighbouring RC priest and his friend established a Quiet Garden about a 90min walk away. Now I take a couple of consecutive day retreats there every year.
People who are upset about new #StarTrek "because of the writing" remind me of people who voted for Brexit "because of the economy".
