This isn't even mentioning the effect it had on my sona. I had made my sona a deer dragon eventually and commed a ref sheet for it. I commissioned a FURSUIT after the design. There were aspects I really enjoyed in the nardo and wanted to use to express me. 🖌: SharkCatSG 📸: @tigerdragon.bsky.social

Since then, I've wanted to make adjustments. Custom texturing. Customizing and MAKING outfits. I learned Blender, Unity, and Substance Painter all the while. Over the course of 4 years, VRC became my creative outlet. 📸(1): @thepurplewicker.bsky.social 📸(2): @aetheo.bsky.social 📸(3): Me

... and so I did! And yeah this thing was NO frills. I didn't know much of anything about Unity or Blender, and I changed the colors on it with Paint.NET. Hardly resembles the deer I had. Regardless of that, I really enjoyed how it looked. Something clicked for me. 📸: Me 🖌: sparksreactor

The difference if you ask me is pretty night and day, the back of the original hair if you ask me is kind of atrocious, I HATED seeing the back of it lmao New poly count is maybe about 1~2k more despite having notably far more detail is because this time I was smart enough to bake normal maps!

Pictures are always important for a new haircut c: Finally revisited and remade my first project I ever did where I created something new for my avi in Blender, which was the hair! Love how it came out, it felt great to see how much I improved on my previous work.

As of right now I have to get friends to help me remove my piece which has been griefed to actively misgender and display both explicit and self harm imagery. Content warning for picture below as an example. These griefers are actively rebuilding too as I write. They know no one is stopping them.

For anyone curious, I quickly put together a render and overlayed it on my browser at home last night to get the general outline made, and then made a few creative liberties from there: especially with the head shape and the expression to make it align more with my characrer reference!
