He has said the same thing ten times already. He isn’t even hiding it. His Congress and His Supremes do nothing, nothing, nothing. He has zero fidelity to the Constitution. Take To The Streets. Demand action from Congress. Swamp the states’ boards of elections.
The oldest scam in world politics: Demonize the Others to scare the people who want to blame someone, anyone
Photo of Me, waiting for my “Anti-woke” friends to get back from watching “The Odyssey” this week…I am so loving this cultural moment. Like every epic tale—whether it’s Homer or Shakespeare or Brontë—its enduring legacy is that it can be retold for our time with new voices, new faces.
Thank you to The Guardian for this (actual) caption. (Trump overstayed his non-invitation at the award ceremony.) Now you know why I stopped paying for the NYT in spring 2024 and kept my Guardian subscription.
Satirist Andy Borowitz has a knack for penning fake articles that feel dead-on
Five weeks later, I think there are only two possible explanations: Mitch is dead—or comatose and his legion of enablers are scrambling to stall the Governor; or Mitch is gaming us all, totally knows it, and is having too much fun playing possum until the last possible hour. Either way: Sickos
When will SOMEONE in Congress wake the f$$k up and stop this outrageous grift? He is openly selling out our nation. Unreal. Unconstitutional.
Today’s headline about last night’s primetime whine-fest by the Felon in Chief. “Exaggerates”? He LIED. Again. Thank you NYT for reminding me why I cancelled my (longstanding) subscription in Spring 2024, when you repeatedly nitpicked Biden (and, later, Harris) while giving a pass to Trump.
This is 22 year old Donald Trump and his father Fred in 1968, the year Daddy forced a physician to give Donny a bogus 1-Y deferment (“bone spurs”) & avoid the draft in Vietnam. Today, as President, Trump is only too happy to send US soldiers to die in a needless war that Congress hasn’t authorized.
After killing too many of the wrong people, DHS pledges to stop traffic stop kill-traps, owns a 24 hr news cycle, then Trump reverses it. Now, after *accidentally* not filming these killings, DHS promises (again) to wear the body-cams that taxpayers bought for them a year ago. Anyone buying it?
@govandybeshear.bsky.social it’s time for you to make a PERSONAL visit to check on Mitch and determine when it’s time to get moving on appointing a new Senator (go ahead and let the Kentucky GOP sue you). Unlike McConnell’s fraudulent allies, I will happily admit that THIS picture is A.I.
Guess why Beshear sent a formal letter this week to McConnell? Assuming he gets no legit response, he can take this chess game to the next level: appoint his own candidate and let the state Republicans sue him.
The person in Congress most responsible for protecting Trump from (2) impeachments and giving him a 6-3 Supreme Court is giving him his final gift: three weeks of global media distraction from covering Epstein and Iran. No one covers for Trump like Mitch.
Sen. Tom Eagleton, a good man, was forced in 1972 to step down as a candidate for VP because it was *revealed* he had been TREATED FOR DEPRESSION. Gov. Howard Dean, a good man, was forced in 2004 to abandon his campaign for President because HE YELLED TOO LOUD in a speech. 80M did not vote in 2024.

Stay tuned to KY because, if/when the Senate seat is vacated, Mitch’s long interference in limiting the Gov’s powers will be subject to a spectacular backfire. If given a chance to fill Mitch’s seat, Beshear will get a fantastic opportunity to defend his right to appoint an interim Senator.
3 months later, who says Americans don’t love a war? Especially when there are no consequences for the investor class. (80M registered voters didn’t even bother to vote in 2024; think they’ll care in 2026?)
Everything he learned from his grifter, lying dad Fred, a corrupt landlord who regularly overpromised and didn’t deliver to mostly poor renters in NY and NJ. Donny was literally taught to lie every minute of every day.
Pretend you’re *shocked* that it took 150 years for the nation’s most famous racetrack (in a former Confederate state) to honor the Black jockey who won the first Kentucky Derby—not just the first Black jockey, he was THE first jockey in the first win.
Why did he do it? Why did he agree to take the blame, to ‘save’ a bogus ‘deal’ to end a war Trump started after he cancelled a (good) agreement that Obama & Clinton created? We need to ask: Why did he bury all of his prior beliefs to become Trump’s VP? Self-loathing & Daddy issues. Same as Trump.
