I parked, got out offered to buy it off the guy. I offered $50 - he countered with $100 so I went into the gas station got a few extra bucks from the atm and bought it back. Through it in my Prius and went home with my trunk wide open.
Apparently, I need to put bars on my garage window even though it's high up. They brought my garbage cans from the alley and used that to get in through the window.

Blue The Cat is due for a check-up. The vet is less than half a mile from home. It's the first time I had the opportunity to do cat transport by bike.
Cargo bikes are the ideal vehicle for a TJs trip: -With the store 4 miles from home, the whole trip is a tight 1 hr. -Enough room for groceries + kid. -No need to deal with navigating a TJs parking lot.

I also just added a ribbon to images that show the upcoming route direction. I found that big fast turns can sometimes be tough to follow when images are every 10 meters. If it's too busy, you can turn it off in the frame menu.
I somehow missed that you can get a GoPro on Facebook Marketplace for dramatically cheaper than Ebay. The 256Gb sd card here is probably worth about $70 alone. I've really enjoyed having one on my bike - gps + video has been a lot of fun.
Great. Thanks, @minneapolismn.gov, but this is not the first time this truck has been parked on the sidewalk and bike lane and reported to 311. How many times do they get advised before they actually get ticketed?

I've been playing with this idea of a site where people can upload gps tracked bike rides to show up to date status of bike lanes. Apparently, I've just been remaking Mappilary.

Did i see an actual turtle or a person in a turtle suit on my way to work today? I had no idea turtle legs were so long.
I don't know what work was being done here, but this can't be the permanent fix of our nationally acclaimed bike lane, right? At 50th and Bryant.
I used to complain about NJ Transit all the time when I used it to get to work, but with some distance, it's very easy to see what a remarkable asset it is. What I'd give to have a similar system in Minnesota.
Fun stuff pops out when I zoom in on the map... My son doesn't like going over the "bumps" in the curb cut at 40th and Chicago, so I am required to go completely around the island which you can see in the GPS route. Everywhere I see something goofy in the map it reminds me of a fun adventure.
A little over a year ago we abruptly went from a two car family of three to a one car family of four and I had to start bike commuting to work in Chanhassen. I've tracked nearly every bike ride I've taken and finally got a chance to map it. Fun to see the shape of the city pop out.
Peter and the Wolf was canceled, but we still played hooky. Started at Our Kitchen for chocolate chip pancakes. Took the E line to the Walker and spent the morning at Show and Tell: Exhibit for Kids. Ended the day at Bryant Lake and the nicest host gave us a few free frames and stickers.
Life in Minneapolis: I give my wife a heads up if I spend more than $100.
I dont know why you'd want to live anywhere other than Minneapolis in the winter.
The Bryant Phase 1 section is phenomenal right now. 15 ft wide bike ped paths plowed better than the vehicle lanes
I did take some skating lessons. Several years ago, St Louis Park had hockey skating for adult novices. But mostly YouTube videos and being willing to look like an idiot in public. Here I am in Ottawa, looking like an idiot while practicing many years ago.
