God Emperor of Nextel

DC. Formerly the benevolent dictator of an oil platform. He/Him.
Yeah who knows what his politics could be like, best not to be presumptuous.
This post was clarifying to me honestly, we couldn’t tell from here why that run didn’t score.
Big test for my bike trailer today, transporting the cats. This did not prove to be an exception to their general distaste for being transported, but it saved 10-15 minutes relative to taking the metro/walking from the stations. I think they appreciated that at least.
Districted #024 🟧🟨⭐🟨🟩 3.77 total miles off Neighborhood Regular washingtonian.com/districted/ I think there’s a problem with today’s Districted, the postal museum’s location is mislabeled
Results so far look fantastic for @janeese4dc.bsky.social, and the Nationals overtook the Padres for a wildcard spot 😁😁. Great day to wake up in DC
Retreated to the deck bar, rain hasn’t started but you want to have a seat for the rain delay
Sad update: I went to the 129/130 district draft (and after that all the other ones) they aren’t serving senate beer anywhere 😔. The only place I even saw right proper was section 223; raised by wolves. I didn’t check any of the club exclusive bars but I don’t remember them having it before tonight.
A couple weeks ago I got a trailer for my bike and getting my #TransitPlants is how I tested it out for the first ride.
The Orioles released photos of their new pride jersey, featuring the curly B prominent on the new city connect gear. It’s less out there than the 2025 version, this year’s rainbow gradient is pretty standard for pride merch. Solid, I’d plan on wearing it if they weren’t playing the Nats that night
Yeah they’re doing a lot better than the Shorebirds did on Sunday. We’re changing pitchers again -_-
The curfew is so important to DC policing that it has resulted in 0 arrests and is unrelated to youth crime MPD responds to. They could do exactly what they’re doing, have cops near where gatherings take place, without it. But we have to perform deference to police for the sake of it apparently.
The Washington Post billboard at Nats Park has been replaced by a Vanda billboard. I think it would have annoyed me more though to see it after they cut the sports section.
Weird now to recall that I live near H Street in part because of the streetcar. I realized quickly that the X2 (D20) got me to Union Station faster, but bus stops aren’t perks to prospective tenants. They don’t convince people they can live somewhere without a car the way trains or light rail does.
I feel like if they’re gonna just draw a line on a map and call it a plan it’s not worth critique, but nonetheless I put in a similar amount of effort in this revision.
Also between express busses and Metro’s new bus network I’ve only really got 2 bus lines on my top 5 list. I’m pretty confident if I could see #6 it’d be D2X.
I need my CaBi wrapped to help me cope with not making the top ten percent of wmata riders. They really called me a casual to my face 😭.
It looks like words need to be 4 letters long to be included in the word cloud, which means DC posters will need to reference the Douglass Commonwealth without abbreviation for it to show up in this kind of plot.
I backed up my old phone recently and found some great #TransitCat content from when I lived in Silver Spring
