Child of the 60’s Got my groove on in the 70/80’s Married family from the 80’s. Now living in Yorkshire having the time of my life. Eccentric Nannie to my 2 year old grandson whom I love to the moon and back.
2 Hummingbird Hawk Moths in the garden at the same time. Never had 2 visit before.
Just want to give my Hubs a very big shout out to say how proud I am of him. Today is his 12 month anniversary of injections into his eye. Not once has he complained or moaned about re the procedure . He says the drops sting but " it is what it is" To turn it into a celebration I 🫡 Love him
We took the car for a runout to IKEA Leeds. Well it's Batley actually ( I worked at IKEA Manchester and trained at Warrington) it was a wonderful store opening . I never manage to come away empty handed 😉.Todays spoils are new additions to the plant family we have ( including faux) bonus not busy 🥂
We had a trip out today. Hubby used his bus pass and I did capped single fares. We went to Harrogate from Wakefield via Leeds. The 36 party bud to said Harrogate was lush. Nice day for and saw a lot more Yorkshire. Whitby via buses is next on the list. Un- numbing me bum is priority 😂🚌

Trip to Castleford and a look round the markets. Found a plant I couldn't resist. Labelled Trailing Bamboo but someone said it's Buffalo grass? Regardless meet Spidey 🙂
Yeah . It's only taken 2 years from conventional lower plants to planting and self seeding( plus seeds Ive saved from plants ) verbena calendula , daisies. I threw also a couple of pkts of wild seeds so I get a lot more colour and height.
I just notice this on the stairs ceiling . Not bright light but I'm bloomin chuffed I spotted it 🙂
Wow the heavens have opened. Rain running down the lane and court. Lightening is very white and the thunder has the cracks and bangs of an orchestra. You can feel the thunder reverberate in your chest. Wow ain't nature brilliant
Had a walk through the bridle path in the top field. Got a lovely clear view of Emley Moor mast over in Huddersfield.
Good morning from the city of Leeds . We're on the top floor of The Hilton with lots of interesting views. At least a watery sun has made an appearance 🙂

Leeds City Variety Theatre and lunch at The White Swan ( handily next door) we got the bud into Leeds from Wakefield as it's a chance to see the surrounding areas. Lunch then off to check into the Hilton. Swift change then off to see Craig Revel Horwood for an wonderful evening entertainment 🥰
Yorkshire Air Ambulance Trac Run . Thank You Farmers for an amazing turnout. Too many tractors to post all. Lots of waving , horns and smiling faces 🫡👍
