These 'trade deals' that UK made are fly specs compared to Brexit. Also the net UK contribution to EU (10 billion/y) is minute compared to the loss (100 billion/y or so) (figure from www.cer.eu/sites/defaul...)

I note that (sadly) @annettedittert.bsky.social seems to buy this flawed nonsense of Bush: There is no need whatsoever for EU people with an emotional connection to UK rejoining. There are also no such people for Ukraine. What is needed - from UK - is a genuine wish to be part of Europe. (1/2)
