I'm seeing some posts suggesting that one of the innocent bystander kids from the North Minneapolis shooting is "unresponsive" or "in a coma" but that doesn't seem to be the case. (This situation is awful, to be clear! ICE put those babies in danger!) sahanjournal.com/public-safet...

The issue was first addressed in a letter sent by Katie Espiner, Hachette UK’s CEO of adult divisions, to the Association of Authors’ Agents (AAA) and then distributed to the trade body’s members. The letter, seen by The Bookseller, acknowledged several discrepancies that had arisen since the introduction of the new systems and promised the utmost urgency in minimising delays to author payments.

Many agents have expressed sympathy with Hachette’s difficulties in the implementation, but noted that may not be comforting to authors. One senior agent at a large agency, who asked not to be identified, told The Bookseller Daily that “the issues appear to be ubiquitous and royalty statements that were sent out are riddled with errors, impacting pretty well every agency and author. As is often the case with a wholesale move of this magnitude, we are experiencing some issues with our first-ever full royalty run on the new system.

Because I've seen some confusion (and pretty wild speculation) about why there was a 90 minute gap between shootings and how cops still came upon the shooter at Rep Hortman's house as he was killing them, looks like this is why:
