On my 4th film of the upcoming Kinuyo Tanaka boxset from Criterion, her first color picture, A WANDERING PRINCESS (1960). The floral imagery throughout makes me think of LE BONHEUR. Or maybe I just want to see the Varda film again

This week was a lot, so I am grateful for cute owl babies. They hung out under the canopy of the live oak all day. It was wonderful to see them in the daytime.
We've wondered where the owl family goes during the day and this morning Mom looked up and found them napping in the backyard live oak. I caught a pic of the owl babies staring down at me from above
