While out hiking yesterday I found two little Butter Boletes, just enough to make a little appetizer. Crostini with a little lemon ricotta, topped with a layer of kale (cuz that’s what the garden has right now) sautéed butter boletes, a shaving of Parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic.

There were quite a few critics for my last food photo so I hesitated posting this one but supper was so good! Maple glazed salmon with a salad made with kale, green onions and herb flowers from the garden. Couscous, roasted vegies and some dried apricots made up the rest of it. Be gentle with me 😄

It was so hot Rohena and we were baking in the full sun but we got 90% done. The rest will have to wait until fall. We built the balcony and the big floor level deck just my husband and I 💪
